All quiet on the owner front

Only just realised that we haven't heard anything of substance from Radz for a while now and the Orta bashing has also stopped.

Both are keeping a low profile so far this season which is the way it should be. Perhaps lessons learned after last season and the constant tweets followed by 4 year contracts.

The team, in the very capable hands of Bielsa, is doing all the talking for them on the pitch.

Loving the ride right now - I've more confidence in the players than I had this time last season and although our unbeaten run won't last forever, it's so good to feel positive, proud and excited about the way we're playing and getting results. It's hard to believe that the majority of these players could only muster some 2 wins in 16 games towards the end of last season, and here we are 8 league games unbeaten, playing impressive football and looking strong.

Keep it up lads - who knows, we may have real cause to celebrate in our centenary year.

2 blokes just disappear.

You have to wonder which one Bielsa has hidden in his bucket.......

As I wrote on the press conference thread:

They've got it spot on!

Hire someone to do a job, he does it well, allow him to get on with it and STAY OUT OF THE WAY!

Marching on Together!!!

and that's what its all about!!

In my opinion good owners aren't grabbing the headlines although some supporters want that information overload.

I suspect AR is in some quiet corner of the Universe negotiating TV rights and planting the seeds for an end of season Leeds United tour.

Kabul anyone?

I assume Bielsa has told them to keep their pie holes shut whilst he tries to do job.

There is no need to hear from them.

Thoroughly agree JLA - let Bielsa get on with it - he's doing a better job than Radrizzani as the public face of the club even though he can't speak English well yet! He has this mystic edge to him - reckon the whole football world has its eyes on what's going on at ER, and that can only be good news for the club!

After making such a pig's ear of the badge remodelling last season, maybe Kinnear has been told to keep schtum, Jonty?

If AR is thinking of the players touring anywhere, surely it should be South - and North - America? Lots of Hispanic fans interested in Bielsa all over the Americas, I'd imagine - big potential tv market?

Anyway, bring on the Brum tomorrow! One thing is for sure: we are no longer the laughing stock of English football. Really hope we destroy them spectacularly but would also be pleased with a clinical 1-0: getting those three points is all that matters!

After Tuesday's performance and putting on a show I would be more than happy with a scrappy 1-0

How it should be, used to cringe when Radz said things in public.. I reckon Bielsa wears the trousers, said shut up, I'll speak about the team.... well, then I'll get somebody to translate it all

very glad the Radz and Orta bashing has finished, no doubt they'll be in the firing line again if / when we get beat.

I wonder if that poster is still boycotting ER over the Meynar tour? - he's missing some good stuff if he has. Not knocking his principles, but disagreed with the poster at the time, and still do.. people get too hung up on owners - instead of watching a bit of football

Afridi was the one who said he'd stop supporting the club if we went through with it. Don't see him on as much as I used to, but think he still pops in every now and again.

I respected Afridi's opinion back then, as I do now. Not saying I completely agreed with him mind, but things have happened in that country that don't sit well with me.

But I do believe in keeping sport separate wherever and whenever we can.

As for op .... I hope AR is working on further expanding his business empire and is leaving the club to those who can manage it. Must be really pleasing to see what must have been a huge, but calculated, gamble appearing to be paying off massively.

They have no reason to spout off except to praise the main man .
