Leicester City 3 v 1 Huddersfield Town

Leicester City v Huddersfield Town

Saturday 22nd September

King Power Stadium

3pm

Another Saturday and another game. Have we all recovered from the disappointment of playing well last week but losing to a wonder goal from Zaha? I haven’t recovered from all the media rubbish about how he needs protection, and the implication that we are a dirty team when the reality was they kicked us left, right and centre 😡

Anyway that was last week and we now go to Leicester for the 6th game of the season and in the relegation places with only two points. Are we downhearted? Not really, we played well last week and didn’t deserve to lose. The question is can we replicate that performance tomorrow but this time come away with something?

I think we can but, and it’s a big but, we need to score. We’ve never been a high scoring team under Wagner but this lack of goals is getting worrying. Mounie should really have done better with the service last week. Do we continue to keep the faith with him or give LDP a chance? I’d personally go with Depoitre as he puts himself about more and isn’t afraid of a physical battle. But I will be surprised if he starts to be honest.

I would continue with the rest of the team that started last week, they looked as though they were starting to gel. I thought Billing was brilliant and he really looks to be developing into a very good player. In my opinion, VLP, Kachunga and Flo got a lot of unjustified stick from some quarters last week but I thought they all did well. Perhaps it’s the feminine side of me that doesn’t like to see anyone picked on 😂

I don’t think I’ve ever seen us get anything at Leicester but tomorrow that is going to change 🤞

2-1 to us with Depoitre and Kachunga the scorers.

Morning Don, glad the ginger lad did you in your own back yard. They hadn't won all season either, so very sporting of you....... even though the officials tried their best to help you.

Keep popping in though

Pleasure like to be friendly despite cowpat, your first team coach parked next to me last Tuesday and had a good chat with him, he was still bullish that it would turn around, you need a bit of luck, his last words though as he looked at the ground were "best club in the world" MOT

It's a bit packed at the top end of the second division isn't it, hoping skim united finish in their usual 7th place

Meh, had to lose at some point.

Will you lot be going one further and celebrating Harry Kane scoring again, or just the clappers some extra stick?

*give the clappers some extra stick
