Ruben Neves

What a talent this kid is. Youngest CL captain at Porto captain at only 18, best player in a very strong Wolves team in the Championship last season and he has walked into the PL without that hindering his performances or influence on games.

I'd hoped we'd go in for him when we signed Fred, felt he was a better option and that hasn't changed.

Jose praised him after our game on the weekend, and after seeing him live, it's difficult to believe he is only 21. Looked full of energy, a great range of passing, dangerous whenever in possession and didn't switch off for a second. He has everything we have missed since Carrick.

He will make a big move eventually, hopefully we are in the hat when that moment comes.

Boly was terrific too, Lukaku didn't get a sniff

Last time I saw him he was offering out pretty much everyone on the site for a meet up and fight.

.....................

That and expressing his hatred for our Military.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why does he hate our military?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why does he believe in Creationism? Why is he still a virgin in his mid/late 20's? Why does he still live with his mum? Everything about him screams worthless ugly unintelligent and utterly unlikable loser; cockroaches and dung-beetles probably call each other 'a complete Stretty' as a term of abuse, so I wouldn't worry about his opinions - a facking lobotomy would raise his IQ the vulgar peasant.

So stetth hasn’t heard of the crusades? As a Christian, they killed a hell of a lot of people doing that?

I very much doubt that he does Ace. I think the little tu rd got caught gobbing off again and that was where he ended up.

Wow, I can see now why Man U are finished, their fans have completely lost focus. They now talk about religion

Unbelievable!

I suppose that I should be glad, due to the stagnant turgid anti football that’s flooding the prem. at least we will leapfrog the idiots with our wealth and game plan. 2 years from now and the kids of Manchester/London will be wearing replica Wolves shirts, so it’s not all bad

You also have to factor in the West Midlands accent which is up there with Scouse as one of the worst in the Uk. That could begin to grate hugely on a player after a few years.

This is precisely the kind of reasoned debate we need more of on here.

Hmm I get you lot are excited but the gap between the top 6 and the rest is huge, it will take years for you to break into that. And that’s only if everything falls into place, a bit like with Spurs and them unearthing a load of gems. I think 7th place is doable next season and maybe a cup to get you into Europe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We saw how big that gap was when Leicester won the title two years ago

First major step to being able to 'compete' with the top six long term will be the stadium which will be 45,000 or slightly more a few years from now and possibly even a new one with 50,000+

Secondly is the brand which is really taking off in China which will generate huge income.

Thirdly Mendes, we can already see the impact he has on football

Fourth we are FECKIN rich and money will not be an object once we can handle the ffp bullshat.

Fifthly we already have one of the top three or four central midfields in the premier league.

Sixth we are feckin Wolverhampton Wanderers, any who realises football existed before the premier league came about(a trophy mighty liverpool haven't even managed to win yet by the way) will know exactly how significant we are in the history of the game.

History is history. Seriously. While Wolves were a big club, right now, they aren't. Same goes for sides like Forest, Leeds, and Derby. Right now, City are making their mark. PSG are more well known.

United being poor for the past few years has impacted how "newer" fans see them. We're still the top side, followed by Liverpool and then Chelsea amongst the people I see here. But these things change quickly.

There is no point discussing what happened 20 years ago with newer fans or fans here. They only see the last 5-10 years.

For me, we’ve made a great start to life back in the Prem, but we’ve had two 1-0 wins against teams who aren’t that great. We’re making plenty of chances, but not scoring more is likely to cost us against better teams. Our two draws with the Manchester clubs are creditable results but no more than that. We also will need to find alternative ways to win when Plan A doesn’t work, or we have injuries. I’m sure Nuno will, but we’ve yet to face this really.

We all know loyalty to the shirt is long dead attribute and if Mendes decides to move a client on it will happen. Of course, he’ll also line up a replacement for us 😀.

Unless we win a cup / get to Europe then I’m sure some of our best players will move on. I don’t think we will in the next two years, but we are building something exciting at Molineux. Just need to hold onto these guys for as long as possible.
