6 wins on the bounce

But apparently we are a midtable team now . Some very good goals last night, goal number 2, woof. I thought Welbeck had a good game & he has performed well each time he has been given an opportunity. Looks razor sharp as well. Always liked him,Classy player & the one decent player we got from united who will offer us a lot especially in Ropey league.

Its funny how we can still beat the lesser teams even with a dysfunctional midfield. It tells you about the quality of our forwards who are really feeding of scraps at the moment or the state of teams from position 7 to 20.I feel we are still in this top 4 race, just need to beat a few top 6 teams at home.

A quick question, can Lacazette play behind Auba & we add numbers to the midfield or does Emery always play with a man either side of the main striker?

2 of the big six = 2 defeats.

That's all that matters these days.
-----------------------

Actually we only had 4 away wins last season. Had we beaten 'lower ' opposition we would have finished second.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm talking about this season.

Also, I feel like the games against the other big 6 will determine positions more than the smaller games will, I can't see the big 6 dropping many points in lesser games.

Our ambition this season is to get back into the Champions League positions if look at our circumstances, ie change of an entrenched manager. That means finishing better than two of the teams that finished in the top 4 last season.

Spurs and Man Utd have already dropped points against teams outside of the top 6. Thats worse than us. So the idea games against the top 6 will determine positions in the top 4 is just not true.

extremely lucky vs Wham and Everton, if they could finish their dinner you'd have lost both.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
moot point, I could say the same about Liverpool vs Spurs (penalty not given) and spurs & Chelsea have been lucky. Probably City are the only team that has been convincing

Good point but its based on the premise that most of the top 6 will beat teams from position 7-20.

I mean Newcastle shouldn't be losing easily at home to a dysfunctional Arsenal and an out of form Spurs but that's exactly what happened.

the bottom 14 are wenk

Thats a bit different to being cut open at will by Wham and Everton and getting away with it. I don't remember us being torn open and being extremely fortunate so far. Hope when/if we are we share similar fortune to Arsenal though.

I certainly remember you being cut open in klopps first season & probably 2nd season but look at you now.

Emery in 8 competitive fixtures has won 6 and los 8 and I should be worried. Feck right off

Even against Watford I expect us to be cut open as the team gets used to new tactics but I expect us to win because of our strikers. We still get the same number of points
