The fundamental point is, there is scheduled public rail transport that can get OF fans to pittodrie for a 12:30pm Sunday kickoff, but not an equivalent the opposite way. But if you want to whitter on with nothing to support or corroborate, then by all means

Are there not about half a dozen buses that could get you from Aberdeen to Glasgow comfortably before noon?

Forgive me - I hadn't actually checked to see if this was true.

A 30 second search found five buses running on a sunday morning from Aberdeen to Glasgow that get in before 1145am.

I know its only 5 buses - but its a start!

If anything you could bet your house that the rail networks will plan a strike for maximum affect that day.

Agree with you on the buses, there are a small number, to accommodate maybe 300 or so supporters. In the same manner there are similar bus volumes going the other way at that time.

Coincidentally, when we would play ICT on Sunday’s at 12:30pm and I could get tickets it was a ball ache trying to get there in time. Point was though that for Aberdeen it’s not “equal” in the sense of ability to travel to game.

Aberdeen has trains ...well, fack me sideways

The bus is an hour quicker and cheaper

It would be a real shame if us bears got a tad exuberant at full time and went on the pitch . It would be even worse if part of that exuberance involved taking a bit of turf as a souvenir .
