Surprisingly good today, especially on the ball made some big blocks too. Probably too soon to say he should be starting regularly, but I really hope he keeps this up. Battled well against a tough pair in Deeney and Gray.
Iwobi improving aswell. Way more confident than he was under Wenger it seems. He's certainly bulked up too.
If we're going to play Aubameyang, it has to be central. He offers nothing on the wing other than runs in behind. Lacazette is the better creator, so we should play him there, or even at no.10. He's another one who's been hitting the cardio. Pressing like an animal.
Not perfect by any means, but 7 wins in a row is not to be sniffed at.

I’d say mustafi has been slightly better under Emery. Still well below par, but he’s had decent moments. Basically Overall gone from a 100% liability to a 85% liability. He could improve a lot if he was less rash and stayed on his feet more, that’s his glaring weakness, if he improved that he’d be much improved. Hopefully he gets better because we’ll most likely be stuck with him all season.
I’d like to see Holding paired with Sokratis when he’s back. He’s shown enough to be given a few starts over Mustafi. Also what’s happened to Mavropanos? Seems to have disappeared since pre season. Thought he might be involved in league cup or Europa. Emery must not rate him as much. Maybe if we buy a new CB in January might be good if mavropanos gets loaned so he can get game time, as he showed signs of great potential
