David Moyes

That Kant is in the papers today stating he’d fancy taking either of the OF jobs

That’s one of many reasons I don’t want that guy anywhere near our club, the fact he’d consider either jobs tells you he hasn’t the stomach for it.

It got me thinking though about potential managers over the next few years who are up and coming. Obviously Rangers have Gerrard who is in his first senior job and looks like he has the ability to make a career in management going by his performances in Europe.

Jack Ross has started reasonably well at Sunderland and if he gets them promoted then teams will likely come sniffing about him.

Marcelo Bielsa isn’t exactly young but what a job he’s doing at Leeds and is certainly someone I’d love to see get our job over the next few years if Rodgers was to leave.

Neil Lennon perhaps doesn’t get the credit he deserves, Hibs were a shambles before him, albeit they won the Scottish cup but in the championship they were struggling. He got them promoted and done very well to finish 4th last season and they have started ever so well again this year. I’m against him coming back to us purely for his mental state of mind, I’m not sure the challenge and pressure of getting 10 would be good for his health.

With the way this season is going, if the Edinburgh sides can remain consistent then there will be a fair few runners for manager of the year.

Anyone else caught anyone’s eye that they wouldn’t mind seeing at their club?

Ghod will take it badly if it's true.

And by taking it badly I mean he will be positively gutted it wasn't him getting his Portuguese sausage.

Arrogant Celtic fans don't deserve the services of a proper and proven manager then.

Proven at keeping Everton above West Ham.
