There are a lot of tournaments and fast players are very prone to injury.

I'm still not sure if the kid is any good, but from what I remember from pre-season, he looked decent and mentally strong, something our youth have lacked.

There is something definitely there with Nketia. Does look mentally strong

Him, Smith Rowe, and Maitland-Niles all look like they have strong mentalities. They don't let mistakes affect their game. Iwobi seems to be developing this too, and he's reaping the benefits.

It is a bit of strange situation as he travelled with the squad but wasn't even on the bench yesterday.
He needs game time and I'm struggling to see where/when he will get some with Auba, Laca and Welbeck in front of him.

Nketiah is the type of player whose best attribute is finding a way to score no matter what level he's at. Although he's quick and technically tidy, he doesn't necessarily look world class at youth level. He. Just. Keeps. Scoing.

Hopefully he'll keep taking the rare chances he's given. Perhaps once he's bulked up somewhat.

Very true. From what I’ve seen the kid is a goal scorer but not much else (which isn’t exactly a bad thing). I hope that’s enough to get him opportunities in the first team..
