A good weekend for our Pontus - a goal to seal a draw in a difficult match, followed by a brutally honest appraisal of his feelings in front of the TV cameras directly after the match.
However, he has more to look forward to in the coming days - the arrival of his first born child.
Take it from me Pontus - there's no better feeling than welcoming your first born into the world. Enjoy the moment - you're going to be a Dad and let's hope it will be a memorable season for you and all the LUFC faithful for all the reasons you hold dear to your heart.

I think footballers' private lives should be kept private - this is a Leeds blog, and if players have babies etc , what they do outside football is their business.

Someone’s still a bit down in the dumps today. I can see nothing wrong in stating that Pontus’ child is due to be born. Personal circumstances do have quite a bearing on football. Players usually miss matches to be with their partner/spouse whilst they give birth or have time off if there is a family bereavement. I’m hoping Mrs Jansson times it to perfection and Pontus is available for us after the international break.
