Don’t know if anyone else was listening, Just listened to Danny Mills on the radio, basically telling the arsenal fan calling to calm dwn as we only beat Fulham!. A game that before hand, very few pundits had us dwn to win because of the travelling in the Europa league. Yet he seem to praise Chelsea for there win at Southampton and hinted they will be up there for the tittle. I’m not having a dig at Chelsea btw, they have had a great start and are settling very well under Sarri.
I really don’t mind being the underdog, it’s just every win we’ve had under Emery, “oh it’s only Newcastle". “Everton were not at there best today". When the other bigger sides win against these sides. They have made progress. Would be nice to garner a bit of respect, after all the trash we’ve had to endure the past few seasons.

I don’t really care what they think, I was listening to a phone in and Danny Mills was being inconsistent with what he was saying. He’s doesn’t seem to be alone with this opinion of us. Just frustrating to hear and it’s laughable.

Statistics can be used in anyway. Unless you can also give me statistics on quality of chances created the no. of shots is irrelevant. For example, opposing teams often shoot from long distances which are easy to save, when the penalty area is very well defended. Or Arsenal are more patient when taking a shot so have less shots because Arsenal strikers are more confident creating clear cut chances. This is why Arsenal are the highest goal scorers.
Essentially results are the best indicator of how a team performs.
