Good few days................

1 game out of 2..................

second half Thursday and first half yesterday.

On Thursday night I thought we were sloppy and wasteful in the 1st half, but second half BOOM. What a difference with the high press and excellent passing and movement.

Yesterday we started like a whirlwind and blew Hearts away in the first half, with McGregor once again proving what a shrewd signing he was.

A drop off in intensity had to be expected in the second half but I was surprised by how much. After the sending off we became rather pedestrian and wasteful and Hearts came on to a decent game and caused us problems, another goal would have had me thinking about Aberdeen and Motherwell results.

On both Thursday and yesterday I thought Alfredo's hold up play and probing passes plus his unselfish play and goals were superb, Kent just seems to get better each game and Daniel Candeias looks like a different player than the guy who struggled to get a starting place at the beginning of the season. Finally the captain, had a brilliant performance on Thursday and a very good game, though not as intense, yesterday. Great end product into the box on many occasions.

BTW the Rangers page will soon be defunct if posters just start threads on the SPFL page and not on here, thanks CS for omitting the Predictor results, and McCann for starting a follow on to an article that had been posted here.

I'd take Kent and Coulibaly.

Worrall would be nice but doubt we could afford him permanently.

The other 2, I wouldn't be too upset if they left tomorrow tbh.

transfermarkt.com has these values on them:

Worrall - £8m

Coulibaly - £1.25m

Ejaria - £900k

Kent - £1.5m

Sadiq - £1.8m

What a load of p!sh.

Not really. Not even sure why, he's just someone I'm not a fan of.

You have to bear in mind that Kent had a couple of mediocre loan spells before he came to us.
He also had a bit of a slow start here - but he is being developed very well under Gerrard and is proving to be an absolute handful for defenders.
If he adds goals / finishing to his game and can keep up the current form while he is here, then we won't be able to afford him.
As it stands, I think £2m is pretty fair.
He is still very raw, but Stevie G seems to know how to get the best out of him.

Just think that a few weeks back, most people were wondering why he was getting a game ahead of Middleton.
Now he is showing us why.

I seen someone talk about Worral and how we need to play him ... I have not heard anything about this but I do know that if we dont play Kent in enough games by the end of the season we need to pay a 1million fee to Liverpool. I think this was done instead of paying a loan fee for the boy. I know Bristol had to pay 1.5m for not playing him enough times in the second half of last season.
