Although he was only on the field for less than half an hour, I thought he turned the game in our favour. His passing was excellent and he seemed to be involved in everything that was going on. He broke up their rhythm and got us back into the game. At the same time, Saiz cut a frustrated figure and was heading for a red card if Bielsa hadn't taken him off. This raises a significant question for the Blackburn game.
If Hernandez is fit, do we play Saiz alongside Hernandez, or do we take a more pragmatic approach in midfield and play Forshaw. Or is there a place for Forshaw, Hernandez, and Saiz, sacrificing Alioski or Harrison?
It's probably a bad omen, but I feel we can win well at Blackburn. They struggled against the quick tempo attack of Sheffield United and they will find us harder to deal with. The only question for me is whether Forshaw should be starting and, if so, who lines up alongside him?

Surely its got to be Berardi at right back and Pearce at left back?
If not, this does not look good for Pearce.

I like Pearce, but last game we started a right footed winger at LB over him. Then we mixed it up and put Alioski there.
Not sure Bielsa rates him for some reason.

Worrying that now Douglas is injured for a while - will miss him at right back, all these injuries might stop us from going up, if they keep happening. I suppose Dallas can replace him !

Side will be BPF, Bera, Pontus, Cooper, Alioski, Phillips, Klich, Saiz, Forshaw, Hernandez, Roofe but I wouldn't bet against Harrison starting for Hernandez and easing Pablo back in.

He managed 95% pass rate in 30 minutes and Brentford got just one shot on goal in that time. Take off the blinkers, Saiz.

I would put Foreshaw in with Pabs. Said it before I believe if Siaz gets dropped & does not start for a few games, he will push for a move in Jan. He just seems that kinda bloke for me. His petulance is always their if things don't go his way etc...But Bielsa seems to like consistency regardless. So Siaz will start.
