Hazard

Nice words from him about Mourinho, just a shame he's not learned his lesson from that second Chelsea stint and has now declined further as a manager since then. I can't see any of our attacking players talking this highly about him when he leaves.

Clever plot from Hazard to make sure Jose stays

You probably comment first on half the Jose articles on the united board. Take it things aren't great at home?

Interesting interview, Arab. Somehow manages to be simultaneously complimentary and damning of Mourinho.

David Squires' "E-Mo" character seems increasingly to have hit the nail on the head.

As a footnote, Hazard's statements, along with the manager's reported friendly terms with Flo Po have also got me crapping my undies.

Madrid arguably killed Mourinho as a manager, I don’t think he would be stupid enough to go back there. And the Madrid fans won’t accept him back either imo.

In 2016: “I sent him a message to say I was sorry he had gone & that I was sorry. We’d enjoyed all that success together, but this time we hadn’t. I felt a little bit guilty because I’d been player of the year. I’d been one of the most decisive players, and then I performed less”

The fans wouldn’t, but it’s Flo Po who calls the shots.

The players and media would be a bigger problem, imo, but it’s still Pérez’s decision.

It all depends on just how much he wants to adhere to the change of style sought with Lopetegui’s appointment. If he does, someone like Sarri would make much more sense.

I actually think it’s a probable move for Jose to go back to Madrid.

Big clubs will want him as he still has star power and he can do a good job with the type of players he will inherit.

One immediate upside is that Wahl would boost ja606 site traffic on the Real Madrid board.

I'm failing to see where Jose goes when he gets the boot...certainly nowhere he's already been...international duty calls soon
