just someone at the wrong club at the wrong time, if fergie signed him i'm confident he would have worked out, maybe not a Ronaldo type player, more in the mould of nani, similar style of player who could do some amazing things but never reached that top top level, still a very good player for us

the fact that the players who fergie(not all but a huge majority of em) generally couldn't get much from didn't really do much after they left utd speaks volumes really, yes he signed a lot of "duds" but how many stories of players leaving utd because fergie couldn't make them a success then turned into amazing players? a handful in 25years or so, generally if fergie couldn't make you good no one could
