This Wenger vs Allardyce 'thing' is just a myth:
Head to Head:
Played 34
Won 20
Draw 8
Lost 6
Mark Hughes has a better record against Wenger than Allardyce.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well it’s not great for Wenger - 68 points over 34 games. Extrapolate that to a full season of 38 games then that would be 76 points. So in other words, if Wenger played a full season against the likes of Allardyce’s Bolton and Sunderland, he still wouldn’t win the league.

How on earth do you go from a head to head record and make the leap in logic to extrapolate that to a season?? It literally makes no sense.
My point was Wenger's infamous record against Allardyce, which spans over a period of 15 years is nothing more of less than any other manager. It's only ever been highlighted because Wenger liked to play football in a pretty way and Allardyces' "tactics" were nothing more than hoofball.

For the record, Allardyce's record against Pochettino is almost identical in terms of points per match.
Mauricio Pochettino
Matches 8
Won 1
Drawn 3
Lost 4
PPM 0,75
Fat Sam's record against Wenger (albeit a with far larger sample size) is worse than his record against Klopp, Moyes, Ancelotti, Benitez, Van Gaal, Hughes...
There were basically 2 or 3 results against his Bolton or Blackburn teams that gave rise to this Myth, and the fat sh*te is still dining out on it now.

To be fair Wenger was very consistent at beating most of the smaller sides so when they lost one they made more of it.

Wouldn't 76 be enough, as surely all the other Bolton and Sunderland teams are going to draw with each other?

Fat sam has a shocking record v Wenger. He is living off winning a few games while managing Bolton years ago.

The major flaw with your maths is that you extrapolated linearly based on results against one manager. If Wenger managed to score 2 points per game against a mid-table/top half manager like Allardyce, then he'd score 2+ ppg against bottom half teams and relegation fodder. I see what you're trying to do but it doesn't make sense.
