Derek McInnes ....for coming out and begging the Aberdeen fans to buy cup semi tickets.

And his efforts managed to boost the next days sales figure into three figures. Just.

๐Ÿ‘ he is a trier means well
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He called on the fans to back the team. Every manager has done it.

It's no less pathetic that what King does every close season. At least McInnes was open about it.

Imagine....a club asking its fans to buy tickets. Extraordinary.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Fair play to them asking for asking for the ko to be moved, then asking for half the tickets then getting the manager to ask them to buy some.๐Ÿ‘

Good effort.

Just a bit of a shame it was all for nothing.

And the difference is that Rangers fans back their team. Put their time and money where their mouth is.

Through thick and thin as has been shown in recent years๐Ÿ‘

Well actually no. Otherwise you would have set the record for season tickets yours ago.

Any time David Murray asked for money you ran a mile. Led to him having to underwrite a share issue that he couldn't afford to underwrite and directly to the level of borrowing that was your downfall.

I think that share issue was only available to existing share holders but Murray did end up taking the burden on at the time. The jjb deal I think gave short term relief afterwards soon too.

Murray was a legend. Took a fortune out of Rangers then sold you down the river.

This weeks winner goes to Eddie the eagle. A truly world class player and only getting better. Now I see why Rodgers said he was better than moussa.

Out of the millions of rangers fans worldwide only 1200 new shareholders were attracted. Murray had to underwrite £50m of the shares. A calamity.
