Little disappointed that there is no statue of the man who apart from being loved by all,created one of the most amazing sporting achievements of all time.
Think the owners should openly acknowledge this and a statue put up of the man who gave city fans the best memories ever.

Probably a bit soon for a statue and it would look very strange given how things ended. We basically became absolutely hated by the football world for a month because we binned him off after delivering the greatest miracle in the clubs history.

He had to go but putting a statue of him up this early would look almost schizophrenic. Claudio was pretty hurt by the whole thing tbh

This appears to be a good idea for many, to display an everlasting tribute to the manager who achieved the greatest achievement over one season at the club with the resources at hand. I’d be more than happy if this was fulfilled.

On the other hand, the omission of the significant part played by another manager, who was responsible for nurturing and developing raw talent, and converting those players into outstanding and world-class performers over many years, would be a sin.

I’m not just banging that drum once again.

I think it's a shame that Claudio has never been given the chance to return and have a proper 'Goodbye and Thank You' from the fans, surely there must be a way to do this?

I do think it will soon be time to welcome him back to the KP with a heroes acclaim.

The only problem is that I think it would put puel’s boring mode out of joint to have someone with charisma and loved and revered by all at the ground.

Seriously, I think it would be a problem for him which is a shame as I want to be able to thank Claudio properly at the ground.

It would not be a problem for Puel as he wasn't the replacement for Claudio. The owners first choice and man they have been trying to get for three years is Raffa.
But the issue will be one of "face"with the owners for firing the most successful manager in the clubs history.

Time will change that i can see CR leading out the champions again on the fifth or the tenth anniversary.
