Radio

No, I'm not interested in Tam and Stuart on a Saturday afternoon, or the horrendous attempt of Liam McLeod to fill Richard Gordon's shoes on Sportsound on Saturday (I really do despise Liam McLeod).

No, what I'm wondering is what radio stations you listen to during the week on your daily commutes?

In recent years I've become a Radio 2 man. While I can tolerate Chris Evans, I'm not sad to see him leave the station, although I'm uncertain about Sarah Cox getting the gig if she indeed does get it.

I'm prompted to do this article by the announcement that Simon Mayo is to leave the drivetime show. The show has been a disaster since Jo Whiley was teamed up with him - it ruined two good shows because it simply didn't work. it's been awful listening and it's a shame that Simon is now away.

So...what do you listen to and have the rest of you accepted your middle aged listening habits are more suited to Radio 2?

Ginger when you get to my dotage it'll be Radio 4Xtra.

Nae news about terrorism or Brexit.

Nae music.

Just spoken word.
