The way some of our youngsters are playing we suddenly have a deep squad. The most impressive thing about Emery for me so far is the way he has used his squad. Everyone has come in at the right moment and there are no favourites. Subs are coming on with a point to prove and making a difference. Early days but a fantastic start from the Spaniard.

Leno
Bellerin Mustafi Holding Monreal
Torreira Xhaka
Mhki Ozil Iwobi
Laca

Auba
Welbz ESR Ramsey
Guendouzi AMN
Kola Sokratis Kos Licht
Cech

Was very impressed with Leno. Looked a very capable goalkeeper in all departments. I will ignore his one rash moment with the corner.Soon be number one.

One of Emery's best qualities in my opinion is his use of the entire squad. Thats why saw players who you would class as starters playing in the Europa League and others like Welbeck starting in the premier league.

For the first time I think ever, we have a manager who is using the whole squad depending on tactics and the opposition.

I know it's still early to judge but if Emery continues his mojo.....it will be safe to conclude, Wenger had lost his charm as a football manager and was the root cause of some of the failures in key areas...

I am def happy with the progress so far...hope we improve our performance when we play against much stronger opponent likes of Pool, Chelsea, Spurs, City.

I think its become a media trope that we don't perform against the better teams. We should have beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge considering the number of chances we created and missed. Aubamenyang especially. And at that Emery only had a pre-season to work with and most of the world cup players were missing. Last year we didn't qualify for the Champions League because we failed to beat lesser teams away. Not because we lost to the other big 6 opposition.

I still think there are teams where Wenger could flourish. Real Madrid or PSG for example, where a hands off guiding of megastars is best.

Strict coaching is taking over though. Xhaka at left back had disaster written all over it but with clear instructions (I'm assuming) he coped very well.

We have an intelligent bunch of players without many egos. Perfect for Emery's style of coaching.

We dropped a lot of points away from home last season and so far this season have lost one away game which was to Chelsea in which we should have been 4-2 up at half time.

We will never get a break from the media.

I said we are doing absolutely well home and away this season against weaker teams however to win or to challenge for PL title, points from the big games will be crucial. I agree and can understand this won't come overnight but may be going into next season we can keep expectations if we do well this season.

Iwobi has been very impressive so far. We have someone who is strong, dynamic, fast and skilful. One of the first names on team sheet for me at the moment.

Yes, too early to get carried away. We had runs like this under Arsene in many of the top 4 years, before later imploding when the pressure was on. So far we have had zero pressure on us but attention is starting to grow.

Emery certainly looks on Pochs level, remains to be seen if he can have the effect of Klopp or Pep.

Chelsea were extremely fortunate to come away with a win in that game.
