One critic says that in the film Freddie speaks about his battle with aids whilst the band are rehearsing for live aid. In real life he hadn't been diagnosed at that time, that would happen a full two years later.

Bit of a spoiler, not much point going to see it now.

I heard he was diagnosed with HIV just before the Live Aid concert and he was advised by his Dr not to do it. He went to the doctor, as he was starting to feel weaker. It developed into AIDS later on.

When you hear of the stuff Freddie was going through and how much of a struggle he had at the end and then look at the songs on the Made in Heaven album and then reflect on the songs, their lyrics and meanings its just heart wrenching.
