well since lukaku is getting all the attention atm, lets talk about another one of mourinho's undroppables, now matic started off well for us last season and despite where his performances are now he was a important part in us solidifying our top 4 place last year, yes he had the odd bad game but as a whole I think he did fairly well last year, now this year it looks like the guy is like a boxer who is completely shot, someone who used be difficult to dispossess now loses the ball of a constant basis, he seems to lost all positional sense in his dm position, his passing is rubbish and add to the fact he's moving to fellaini level of slow its not a great combination
despite all this jose insists upon having him in the team instead of Herrera/fred/perreira, similar to how much of a issue lukaku is another massive problem is matic, I mean literally what was the point of buying fred if not to use him when a cm is playing gash? again no doubt mourinho will soon come out say he wasn't backed by the board to buy another midfielder

Yeah I saw picture comparing him at Everton to now and he looks twice the size. Clearly having an effect on his pace, mobility and stamina.
It’s not even like he’s using that extra size to bully defenders either. Mourinho’s trying to turn him into a target man when he just isn’t one, or doesn’t want to be one.

Indeed, he is like a big pansy. I reckon Jonny Evans could bully him. And not challenging for 50/50 headers from Daves up field punts has really wound me up.

Lukaku always had quiet games against us, Blind and Smalling had him in their pocket all the time. Which makes you wonder why the hell we spend £75m on him.

Also why did we sell Blind and buy Lindelof? Blind was perfectly fine at CB despite me early fears about him there.
