Deja vu.
A typical Celtic away performance, albeit by a very, bery weakend side.
We started ok, everyone wanting the ball, picking up every 2nd ball and genuinely competing. Then the inevitable happens and 2 players, Kouassi and Boyata decide to both have fresh air swipes at a simple cross. After that the 2nd goal comes as expected and a host of errors in this one, Gamboa, the fastest guy on the pitch decides to dive in and let someone by him to get a cross in, then Dumb and Dumber again can’t stop a simple cut back between them and then Ntcham doesn’t get out to the ball with near enough conviction.
Then the heads drop and it was plain sailing from there.
A couple of positives though, I thought Christie done very well at times and looked very good on the ball, he does go to ground far too easily though.
I thought Morgan had a good first half but he looked way out his depth in the 2nd half.
The biggest positive though was, that it was only 2-0 which gives us a good chance of bettering the head to head. 3-1 win or more by 2 goals is good enough and we’ll almost be back to full strength by then and they can clearly be got at with the right players, attitude and backing.
Do that in 2 weeks and we’re in a terrific position with 2 games to go.
That said, if we lose then we’re out
Jozo likely out of Sunday now which means Hendry will play. I hope that quietens a few people down, especially Sutton about the players picked last night. A lot of enforced changes but we couldn’t risk any more injuries to key players with such a big game on Sunday.
Brown, Jozo, Boyata and Griffiths all missing for Sunday and that’s not ideal but I think we’ll go with this which is more than good enough:

Ntcham

Forrest
Rogic
Sinclair
Edouard
Looking forward to Sunday now, should be a cracker.
