its amazing to think even martial who I would love to stay is on what 70-80k a week but fishing for what double that? don't think despite his obvious talent hes done anything close to deserve that but that's the way the game is especially with players at our club

sanchez was given silly money because of the lack of fee, now don't get wrong we do generally give silly money anyway but when there's no xfer fee involved ed probably sp*nked on that contract when he was offering that wage

Indeed, but sadly it highlights your point about players deserving their wage based on what they’ve done on the pitch. De Gea is the only one in the squad you can confidently say is deserving.

Not that it has anything to do with Jose's management of the team of course....

Don't blame him, I can see Juve being his most likely destination as they seem to be the only top club without a top keeper.

Wouldn't be any point joining Juventus, they're not a step up status wise from United even if they have a better team currently.

The only clubs he should realistically leave United for are Real or Barcelona and I don't think either need a goalkeeper.

Woooow, this would be a massive blow.

Ed please pay him what he deserves.

I still remember that troubled period that we faced when we lost Peter Schmeichel and replaced him with a quality keeper like Van der Sar

What has status got to do with it?? They are challenging for their domestic league year in year out, competing for champions league, why should he not join them? Do you see us Competing for champions league even in the next 3 years??
