Middlesbrough 1 - 1 Derby County

Riverside
Middlesbrough
1230
27 Oct 2018

Not much to say really after THAT performance. Suddenly Derby have been thrust to the fore as THE team in the league and well deserved it was.

However swallows, summer and all that......back to the small matter of a game at the Riverside where we have a good record...........last season with a Matej Vydra hat trick. It's a Pulis team and I'm intrigued to see how we set up.

Middlesbrough will be without old Ram Ryan Shotton and once again we cannot avail.ourselves of the services of Craig Bryson and George Who.

Florest on a roll after a victory against a team we failed to beat and once agin seem to have the Championship sewn up.

Intriguing fact that Derby gave scored 5 goals in the opening 15 minutes of the game this season - more than any other side. So start getting restless if we have not scored by 1245. Prior to our win at the Riverside last season, Middlesbrough have won 9/10 of the last meeting s with the Rams at the Riverside.

*RAISING THE BAR*
Can you really experience anything objectively?

Team:-

Carson
Bogle
Keogh
Tomori
Malone
Huddlestone
Wilson
Mount
Lawrence
Waghorn
Marriott

Substitutes: Roos, Forsyth, Davies, Johnson, Jozefzoon, Holmes, Nugent.

No he said “Ich bin EIN Berliner”. My comment was a reference to this. In fact, although a Berliner is also a type of doughnut, JFK was grammatically correct in his phrase and it’s an urban myth that he embarrassed himself by getting it wrong. He was saying he was one of the people of Berlin.

Berliner is also a size of newsprint. Until recently The Guardian was printed on Berliner size sheets.

I noted the smiley Heb, The Guardian is a revered publication and should not be mocked.

What would Kennedy have said had he gone to Hamburg?

The league table makes disappointing reading after the week we have had.
