Stadium, whenever it opens. It will be like coming home after a near two year absence. Brilliant that the New Stadium has only been moved about 100 yards up Tottenham High Road, no big deal, so will still be WHL to me, whatever they name it.
Not sure I will be able to get a ticket for the first home game, not a season ticket holder, and tickets will be in short supply, but there will be plenty of other games, notably cup games to purchase tickets for the new stadium.
Going back home will be a massive advantage to Spurs again, better atmosphere than Wembley for a start, so Spurs just need to hang on in for another few months, and then they can really push on. Would have been nice to see CL football there this year, and whilst an uphill task, still not impossible, but I will settle for Europa if that is what is on offer. The season really doesn`t start to get underway until the New Year anyway, so we will have a better idea of where we are by then.
The main thing is though WHL is our home and we will shortly be back there. Get behind the team whatever, the good times are just around the corner. As Spurs supporters we have never had it so good. (Well I have ), but the majority cannot really complain of the way things are now, compared to say 20 years back.

I’m sure all of us fans sole feeling about going back home would have been elation and anticipation after a 2 year absence, if 2 years had been the timescale originally stated. As it wasn’t, it’s more than understandable that numerous fans are miffed at the delay.

Sandy, if you can’t get a ticket for the opening game let me know. I have two season tickets for me and my son but he often works awkward shifts so can’t always make the games. Happy to do you a senior citizen discount!

Thanks mate, much appreciated. I will bear that in mind. Hopefully the brother in law goes down with a bad dose of the flue, then I can have his season ticket.

I think (and always have) that if it goes beyond xmas wait until the start of next season. It will feel alot more right and proper than poncing in half way through. The whole saga has been so unprofessional but thats Spurs for you nothing is ever without drama.
