Ryan Christie

When he came on yesterday my mate (yes I do have one) said that maybe this would be the day that Christie finally became a Celtic player.

To be fair it wasn't a total shock. He looked good pre-season and has been very sharp in his limited appearances since then.

I hope to see him get a sustained run in the side now, possible replacing N'tcham with McGregor dropping deeper to compensate.

N'tcham is a terrific player but he looks to me like his heart isn't in it.

By the way wouldn't it be great to get the old Scott Sinclair back? Let's hope yesterday was a fresh start for him.

Kouassi - dud, as I've told you all along

Ntcham - played as many bad games for Celtic as he's played good games, which is a consistency issue, which I've highlighted all along.

Christie - isn't good enough for Celtic imo. Or more worryingly for you guys, he's becoming good enough for Celtic, which perhaps indicates your declining standards.

I'm starting to see why I've not been approached for any professional managerial jobs

Forrest - I'd have sold 4 years ago
McGregor - I'd have sold 2 and a half years ago
Christie - I'd have sold straight away
Ajer - sold as he isn't good enough at Centre Mid

I have a real eye for potential so I do

Aye, you thought Armstrong was quality

He is quality

I'm talking about potential

On Christie he is far better coming f the bench with fresh legs to make an impact. He is not good enough to be a starter IMO

I don't think anyone is chomping at the bit for Christie to be the first name on the team sheet.

He's never shown anything to suggest he's even remotely useful for us until this season. He looks quicker, stronger and he's showing bits of quality on the ball in the right areas now.

Really pleased with how he's come on but he will always be an impact player for us and i think he's ok with that himself at the moment.

It’s only taken him 2-3 years, but Christie finally looks to be bulking up a bit.

Still hits the deck far too easily though, needs to work that out of his game.. but probably too late in the day for that now.

Definitely gave us some energy yesterday which was lacking in the first half.
