This still makes me laugh.

Wijnaldum is definitely not shiite.

To be fair he spent the season playing on the left wing or behind the striker so as far as I’m aware, he hadn’t played in CM before so he might not have seemed like an obvious signing.

However...

There’s simply no excuse for signing Sissoko whatsoever. He alongside the likes of Llorente, Janssen, N’koudou and N’jie is a shocking waste of something approaching £100m.

Wijnaldum is actually a very decent footballer. He can actually control and pass the ball without it being an achievement to feast your eyes over.

Only people who dont understand football would claim he was sheite or w.e. He has his flaw, and i've said it many times. For someone of his ability on the ball hes too timid/passive. Obviously hes being asked to play a different role by Klopp for Liverpool but when you're in a mf with Hendo and Milner you need to be the one standing out on the attacking side of things. Rarely is, but shows moments where you think whys he choosing to pass it 5 yards sideways or backwards when he can do that?

Still even if he remained as he is and doesnt grow some balls hes a very tidy players and well worth the money. Top guy and pro too.
