When we played the big sides under Rednapp away from home, we were poor and I remember some heavy losses. We have always been a soft touch tbf.

5-2 vs United
3-0 vs Chelsea
3-0 vs arsenal
5-2 vs arsenal

He may or may not have name-checked the likes of Modric, VdV and Bale during his whinefest, but they were complicit in some/all of those games.

Redknapp is just a silly, bitter old tw@t who needs to get over himself. If he wants to offer up an excuse for the ‘mind the gap’ fiasco then I’m all ears. If we had the players then the blame lies solely with him, facking gobshiiiite

Neville is a complete and utter idiot. He was an OK footballer, that failed completely as a manager, and is a pretty useless pundit.

Neville is far more knowledgeable about football than old wobble chops ever was.

No he is not. Redknapp has lots of experience at all levels of management. Neville was a complete and utter flop at his only management job.

Redknapp got a pretty average Spurs side CL football, Neville nearly managed to get a half decent Valencia relegated.

Agreed with Neville’s comments.

Redknapp was great for us.

Both good at what they did/ do.

Just different opinions.

Redknapp spent about 7 years trying to sign Diarra, Parker, Krancjar and Defoe over and over again. Needed to get his head out of his backside and do some scouting. You talk about relegation yet fail to mention Redknapp taking Southampton down, then later taking QPR down, barely getting them up again despite having a wage bill on par with Dortmund, then quitting after leading them to a record-breaking 11 straight away league defeats.

Redknapp got Spurs CL football, something Neville could only dream of. He needs to button it, until he actually does something in management himself. Typically gobby ex footballer, who has done nothing since he packed in playing. Easy thing in the world to criticise, but you need to back it up, with our own successes.

So that would mean that someone can’t criticise or pass judgment on others unless their career and achievement betters the person they’re talking about....

.... in which case, Guardiola has won league titles and Champions leagues as opposed to a play-off and FA cup final, meaning Redknapp has no right to question anything Guardiola ever does.

The article is about Neville and Redknapp, why bring Guardiola into it?

To show a lack of thought or theory to your ‘Neville should match Redknapp’s managerial achievements before he criticises him’ idea is flawed in the extreme. Should TV companies check prospective pundits CV’s before assigning them to a game to ensure they’ve got the credentials to speak about the managers who’s teams are playing?
