Why is Trippier in everyones teams ffs. Dembele or Son for me. Otherwise fairly simple choices

I know I cannot believe everybody is still putting the woeful Trippier in their teams.

So looks like we’ll be looking for two C/DMs this summer.

Anyone we should be after?

There’s plenty we should be after, but let’s be honest, our club don’t have the foresight to either scout them or the capability to actually make bids for them. There will be some excuse along the lines of ‘they were asking for too much money’, all the while we’re demanding our own exorbitant fees for our players.

Keep Winks - give him a go, and he’s homegrown so we need him really.

Keep Dier - versatility

Wanyama can go wherever his poor first touch takes him tbh.

Havertz is a 19 (?) year old CM/AM that plays for Leverkusen. Came to prominence 2 or 3 years ago when he wasn’t able to play in the CL vs Atletico because he had exams at school. He’s now a regular and he’s impressing.

Trigueros is a bit of a late bloomer as such, in that classic Villareal mould of someone who likes to get on the ball and dictate the tempo. Probably won’t have one of those £164m buyout clauses as Villareal tend to be more rational that Athletic Bilbao for example
