Has the novelty of playing at

Wembley finally worn off. Crowds are falling, our fans are voting with their feet, cannot blame them really, very expensive seats, no atmosphere, awkward ground to get to and from. This week`s CL game with PSV I can see barely 45,000 turning up, same for the Inter Milan game, and with very unattractive games on the horizon this side of the New Year, Chelsea aside, Southampton, Brighton, Burnley, Bournemouth and Wolves I can see some crowds being barely 30,000, although Spurs should get an absolute hatful of points out of the home games.

Hopefully ground will be ready for the New Year, and the fan base will get back on board.

I hate Wembley. Have sold most of my tickets this year.

I think the whole stadium fiasco and also the team’s performances have been big factors. From a personal point of view, last season was “great, I’ll get to watch some decent games now”, and then hopefully be in the mix for some this season back home...

Performances haven’t been great this season either so I’m less inclined to want to either see some stop-start performance from us, or getting outplayed. I wasn’t going to go at all this season after failing to buy anyone in the summer, it was only the fact that we drew Barca in the CL which made me change my mind.

I would guess is tleyow things...

1. Managing expectations.....Because you all thought you would be in the new stadium by now, it makes still being at Wembley much worse

2. It's not home.....I don't know, but I would imagine there is only so long fans will put up being in a temp stadium................so I think that is in play too.

The worry for me as a Chelsea fan is that if/when we move to Wembley we are supposed to be there 3 seasons I think

I went 4 times last season

Getting home for me is a nightmare, pricing is all wrong also. Should have low balled ticket prices to fill the place out.

Had the club said we would be there for 2 seasons I don't think there would be such a drop off but alot of fans are livid that we aren't in the new ground yet and that added to the fact they don't like Wembley makes it easy not to go.

The stadium being so big doesn't help either, 56k is quite alot of people when you consider it was a Monday night game played on a ploughed field but it looks empty.

Sandy. Like I keep telling you, fans feel let down and lied to by the club mate. The club knew full well there was going to be a delay with this stadium mate. Every man and his dog could see the stadium wasn't going to be ready, but Spurs still upped the season ticket prices and gave everyone false hopes. Months down the line we are still nowhere near to moving in and fans are fed up. I don't blame them one bit. I haven't been once this season because of it, despite being offered tickets on numerous occasions. I might possibly go Chelsea at Wembley but that's only because I got a friends bday in London, so makes sense to make a day of it by going to a game then to my friends bday after. Apart from that, I don't want to touch Wembley with a barge pole unless it's a cup semi or final.
