I remember the game last season against Liverpool where he was played at left back to combat Salah pace.
Doesn't look like we will have any left backs available for tomorrow's game. Hope I am wrong but none of them in the training pics as well as no Bellerin.
We can't risk Xhaka as he will be missed in the middle. Also with Xhaka, we won't cross the half way line which will cripple our attacking play.
AMN is very very quick and can stay with salah or Mane.
We need our full backs to attack when they can tomorrow rather than staying back and defending for the 90.
Xhaka and AMN are only realistic options. Who would you go for?

AMN will be better than Xhaka purely for the pace in this game. Xhaka has the experience, which could help. But can equally be rash like he’s an 18yr old. The team is better balanced with Xhaka in CM with Torreira anyway. I’d be tempted to even put Jenkinson LB to keep Xhaka in CM away from LB. won’t be surprised if kolasinac or monreal make it though. If we have a proper LB I’ll be less worried with Lich playing. He’ll be better off not bombing forward as much though. With his experience you’d hope he can position himself well and anticipate situation without leaving himself too exposed to pace

AMN struggled at left back on opening game against Man City, he then got injured. However that's the only real option we have, Xhaka will get ripped apart by Liverpool if he plays left back.

It looks like Bellerin and Kolasinac will both be fit to play. Personally I would still play AMN over Kolasinac at left back but either option will be better than Xhaka at LB.
