If you’d offered any Liverpool supporter that record after 11 games, with the 3 draws only coming to Chelsea and arsenal away, with city at home, i think every single one would have bitten your hand off. I certainly would have.
Only united left to play of the other top 6 sides, should be able to string together a good run of wins now and keep as close to city as possible for as long as we can and then we’ll see what happens.
Been a great start for us though.

You've scored 2 more goals than Man United this season . You've also regularly played like a drain - once you've got in front. But no, you're still a thrilling team whose manager hasn't sacrificed flair for results

Winning football is the best kind of football and Klopp knows it. It's fair enough - but when your team isn't all that exciting whilst grinding their way to be City's closest challengers, whilst not getting close to them, you'll hear all about it. Just as United did last year

I thought that Gini had the least influential game for a long time. Like Ozil, he was peripheral at times. Their midfield won that personal battle.
By far, that's the best game I've seen VvD play, he was immense. Yesterday, it just wasn't happening for Bobby, I wasn't surprised when he was subbed.
Full marks to Arsenal, they came flying out of the blocks from the first minute.
That disallowed goal, dear oh dear.

I’m concerned by our performances.
We just can’t seem to click - which is almost a ludicrous thing to say whilst we sit top of the league (albeit until City play).
But something isn’t working. The midfield aren’t creating enough and the forwards performances are stuttering.

Liverpool will probably be third after today`s results.

Tbf their manager is deliberately changing their style of play to ensure they don't concede many and don't lose many games like yesterday. The change in style is very deliberate and very obvious, and VVD is no more solely responsible for their defensive improvement as he is for their attacking regression.
It's a smart strategy, as Liverpool are losing less games and are keeping themselves in contention. But they have lost the right for moral superiority in terms of football played over trophies. Right now they're a fairly dull team attempting to win at all cost. As they did at Huddersfield and at home to Brighton, but not yesterday

We heard you the first time Benji.

Can't argue with the facts but for me I'm disappointed with some of our performances
City should be presented with the trophy today

Exciting times. Slowly slipping away from City, playing less than thrilling football etc. Welcome to our world
