Crisis? What crisis?

It's amazing to think that certain outlets are attributing a crisis scenario to this Spurs side this season, aggregating facts and fictions, to draw a negative picture on the current state of affairs.

It takes a quick glance at the current form tables to check whether Spurs are lagging behind and its challenge to be a top 4 side, at the least, is derailing or not.

This is the current form table, and only points lost was to City.

Win Draw Losses Pts from last six games

1. Man City 5 1 0 16
2. Spurs 5 0 1 15
3. Arsenal 4 2 0 14
4. Liverpool 3 3 0 12
5. Everton 4 0 2 12
6. Man Utd 3 2 1 11

That clearly showing Spurs are right in the mix and have actually gained points on Liverpool and United.

It also shows how well Unai has done so far. Very fortunate against Palace, but Arsenal were the team administering a dose of attacking football yesterday.

Back to Spurs, like I said, once we move to our "HOME", we can look forward to making it like what WHL was: a fortress

We played Chelsea, city, and arsenal in the last 6
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, and the outcome?

No win at all

Very poor displays and really fortunate against all of them too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
and still above you with your approaching a few tricky fixtures
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Last time Spurs played Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal they won all three, so not that tricky.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that means fack all, Arsenal and Chelsea have new managers and playing some good footy.

It’s all well and good saying ‘what crisis’ when you’ve won a game.

The bigger picture however is that you’re falling behind and near yout of CL.

I’ve just checked your next 3 league games and it’s away at Oalace, Arsena and Chelsea.

That’s 3 very tough fixtures and it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that you could drop points in all 3.

The OP may then be calling for heads to roll.

The points return of the last 6 games don’t really tell the full story - which is that when Spurs play a title contender, they tend to come off worse. They are doing what they always do and beating the teams outside the top 4 but failure to get wins against the likes of Liverpool, City, Chelsea etc means that they aren’t title contenders. It’s a similar story every season.

The difference this year I would say is that it’s become a lot harder to beat many of the average sides in the prem - unconvincing wins against Wolves, Brighton etc and a defensive frailty. Spurs are managing it for now but I don’t see a title challenge from you guys.

As for the champions league, well that’s another story entirely - and not a good one
----------------------------------------------------------------------Since 14/15, we are third in the ‘big 6’ head to head league. Home form has been excellent, away form poor.

Says it all!
I blame Levy
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Didn't Spurs beat United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal last season? So nonsense to say they don't beat the top sides, when they clearly do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Last season is last season.
This season, after a good start in August, We've lost a lot of matches we should have won in Sept and Oct. including losses to Watford, Inter and Liverpool. In Oct we lost to the better teams and managed a draw with PSV.
Our next few matches are against: PSV, Palace, Chelsea, Inter and Arsenal.
Care to predict what's going to happen?

We should not have won the Liverpool game. You say we’ve lost a lot of games we shouldn’t have and then list every game we’ve lost. So should we be unbeaten?

Ted has also failed to mention all the games Spurs have won. Of the losses Watford, Inter Milan and PSV should all have been wins. Spurs really have should have lost to only Liverpool and Barca this season, and those two defeats were with severely depleted teams.

"should all have been wins"!!! OMG that is schoolboy talk.
There is no such thing as a 'should have been win".
In life there are only Wins Draws and Losses.
Nothing is "should have been".
sandy ... you are too damned old to be talking such rubbish.

Well if there is only wins, losses and draws, then Spurs have won twice as many as they have lost. So what exactly is your point Ted?
