Morning All.... Good win but same odd performance again last night... Good to see the fight & commitment but still plenty of room for improvement !!! (Another early goal FFS !!!)
As most have said.. thought Winks was excellent again. Seems like with every game back his confidence is growing and TBH hes looked like our best & brightest player through this tough stretch !!!!
Question is.... With Dembele Wanyama looking like they are on their last legs, Dier still showing signs of a lot of football over the past couple years..... should we look to sign a player in Jan/ Next summer that not only complements Winks & give's him the opportunity to shine (Making him the main man in CM) or are there still question marks (Is he still a squad player) and do we need to go after a superstar
Tough call but I'm starting to think he might have what it takes to go on & be the main man for Spurs & England !!!!
Keep it up Harry but PLEASE change your squad number to 40 !!!

Winks was exceptional last night. 7 key passes in one game is unreal.
It now should be HIM and one other.
Going forward I’d be replacing both Waynama and Dembele this summer with one high intensity DM and one ball playing CM.

Rumours are that we will sign Barrios from Boca Juniors in January.
Would personally like Ndombele or Rabiot. However I think Rabiot will be very expensive as City, Barca are interested in him. Apparently Liverpool have put in a big offer for him this week, how true that is I don't know.

No. We should not be setting our stall out by making Winks our main man in midfield based on about 4 good gams after injury.
OP you are one of the more vocal posters on here complaining about Levy, lack of ambition and stating your fears why players might leave, yet here you are advocating Winks being a key player based on a small sample size, essentially considering advocating bringing in someone to be his understudy
