Gazzaniga, had another half decent

game last night, a couple of vital saves. I believe He has a 100 per cent winning record when starting for Spurs, which could be good going forward considering Spurs have to beat both Inter and Barca, two games he will definitely be starting in. Obviously Number Two to Lloris now, and looks very, very decent. Vorm was OK, but invariably when he was in goal, Spurs used to lose. Always nice to have a winner between the sticks.

I doubt Gazzanga will ever be a first choice gk for us but he’s certainly earned the back up spot now.

Needs to work on his hesitation when coming for high balls. A few times I’ve noticed him start to come and stop then be in a bit of no mans land.

surely Lloris only got a 1 game ban, right?

I always liked him. Good keeper and his distributions rivals Loris's

Thought that touch from Llorente to setup Kane for the first goal was sublime

Is that right, just a one game ban for a straight red card. Not sure that sounds fair.

Gazza is good.
Also liked to see Fernando Llorente getting playing time. Almost scored a header too.
But why oh why take Moura off?

Lloris has a one game band Sandy, the rules are it’s a three game ban for violent conduct only.

A three game ban for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity would be an extremely harsh rule.

I noticed Gazzaniga releases the ball much quicker than Lloris. He tries to get the counter attacks moving. I hope Lloris learns more of this, by rolling the ball into space for the full backs it forces our team to move up the field quicker.
