Embarrassing how Mourinho has got some of our fans fall for this defeatist mindset. We are Manchester United and should be looking for a result I don’t care who we face. Even under Moyes, we gave a good account of ourselves against a Bayern Munich side fat superior to this juventus. Good side but nothing about them shouts amazing from what I have seen.

Should be remembered that even in the Moyes era most of our fans would have been confident of (Not expectant!) turning over Munich (the holders) at home in the CL after drawing at home in the first leg.

Bournemouth are also above us in the league table.

we are a upper mid table premiership side. and a lower to mid European side.

just accept it and move on.

To be fair to Mourinho, we won a european trophy we never won under him. He has it in him to win the CL. Worse teams have won it like the Liverpool and Chelsea sides who struggled to win in the league.
