Since the day of the Newcastle game where supposedly Jose was gonna be sacked and even I thought the players had downed tools we’ve turned it around.
Played 6, won 4, drew one and lost 1.
We’ve made progress in our CL group a likely thing rather than a last day tense thing and in the league we’re sneaking back up the table and after the City game we have some very winnable games.
We are looking very hard to beat and the players do look like they want to move forward. We’ve been called a midtable side by Liverpool fans who conveniently forget after losing 4-1 to Spurs around this time last season they were in 9th place but clawed their way up the table and turned their season around.
It’s far from a perfect season but we have reasons to be optimistic. Let’s get the likes of Lukaku and Fred into form and we are a side why many great options and many ways to win a game.

Lindelof got man of the match on sky sports.. not sure if it's the official or sky sports man of match but he's gaining confidence and improving.. would be good if he had a leader next to him.

That's a pretty awful MOTM award. He had 3 clearances go into the sky an doubt us under pressure, lost his runners two or three times and gave away a goal.
He has improved lately but yesterday wasn't a good day for him.

Tbf in the CL we’ve conceded just 2 goals in 4 games and tbh we may not concede again until the knockout rounds
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And we have winky conceded 2 in our lats 2 fixture,s, but Bournemouth and Juve should of had the game sewn up before we had a kick.

‘Should have’
😂 That’s not how football works though is it?

Are we including a fluke win as form?

I’ll raise you a ‘should have beaten Chelsea’ at the Bridge but ended up drawing.
But like Nobbb said (not that I often agree with him), that’s not how football works hehe Baz

Are we?
We're still conceding bucket loads of chances, while that's the case we could easily come a cropper, especially in the next few games

Our defence need much improvement. Already conceded 18 goals by our 11th game.

Lets just enjoy the wins we get. I am sure Mourinho will make us tighten up sooner but for now we need to win and if are creating decent chances every game we got a chance.

I have to admit that I am surprised at how the players have responded in the last few weeks. I thought that they had stopped playing for him to be honest and that he would be gone around this time (possibly after the City game).
In terms of results, we couldn't really have hope for much more. We were always likely to lose at least one of the games against Juve. In terms of performance, we have been improved, with the exception of the home game against Juve, which I thought was embarrassing.
Our performances throughout a game are still patchy and we seem to struggle to find any rhythm early on. Jose really needs to address this.
I think that one of the main reasons that we have performed better is that Martial has been back in the team - 5 goals in his last 6 starts for us and certainly our best attacking threat in that period. Whilst pleased that Jose is picking him again, I am frustrated at the fact that it has taken so long for Jose to give him that run of games that he deserves. He should not have been sacrificed for the incoming Sanchez. I am also concerned about what will happen when Lukaku comes back. Whilst I was unsure about Sanchez as a no. 9, we have looked better going forwards with him up top and he is more likely to spot runs and get on the end of them then Lukaku. As we can't put a cross in to save our lives, Sanchez is probably the better option for us right now of the two. Although I would prefer Rashford up top personally.
The chances are that Jose will bring Lukaku back into the team, but I really hope he doesn't.

Mourinho add end of press conferences saying about wanting Man Utd fans who watch on television to feel we come to play to win and feel that we can win in any game we play in.
To be fair I noticed we are more attacking under Mourinho this season than last season. More cut throat to the opposition. More back to 16/17 season level.
