Have lost to wolves and southampton, and drew with newcastle, and have also failed to score a goal, in 5 of their 6 home games.🤣

They drew against the Arsenal team Liverpool failed to beat last week.

It was tough conditions and and an under strength Spurs. Take your best CB your back up CB your best LB , first choice DM and most creative player out and lose your first choice RB after 20mins and I wonder how well many teams,bar City, would do.

3 pts is what matters on nights and circumstances like that and that is where LFC have failed in the past. Lacked the ability to win games like that. A good start for you boys this season but you will be tested as the season grinds on. Still to prove you have the character in adverse situations.

Really ?
We havent performed anywhere near the level we are capable of, yet remain unbeaten, have conceded only 5 goals in 11 games, have gone to an in form Chelsea, came from behind to gain a point, beat Spurs at a canter, drew with in inform Arsenal, only by virtue of an awful refereeing mistake, kept City at bay, who are thrashing everyone, and will more than likely return to the top of the table for a few hours at least tomorrow, with a third of the season gone.
Give it a couple of weeks, and you boys will be back to bemoaning your lack of transfer acrivity.

Like Liverpool have been ripping it up against any of the big boys, they have played and not beaten Arsenal, Chelsea or City. Spurs only have to beat one of Arsenal or Chelsea and they would have more points against the so called biggies than Liverpool have this season. Liverpool beating a severely depleted and understrength Spurs side is their only decent result of their season.

My point is about adverse situations. Not about playing badly for no identifiable reason. Spurs had half a team out injured, had a UCL game mid week, a London derby on a dreadful wet and windy night....that was the challenge.

You have done well. You are getting results when not playing well which you haven't always done. But why aren't you playing well. How would you cope if you lost VDV Robertson Gomez Henderson Mane and then Arnold hobbles off injured. It's good for you today after a rough midweek journey that you gave the worst team in the league. Sure you're happy its not a more competitive team away.

Let's not discount Utd. You may not class thema front runner but they will be a massive challenge for Liverpool / City / Arsenal in weeks to come. They also drew at in form Chelsea.
