Bit of a strange game yesterday. We didn’t actually play that bad but we didn’t really create too many clear cut chances to be fair and a draw was a fair result in my view.
Livingston defend very well and their keeper had a terrific game so it’s disappointing not to win the game but we’ve went top of the table with a game in hand, that’s the pleasing aspect of the past 5-6 weeks.
Anyone checked if Laudrup’s TV blew up yesterday? Volume up at 99 until 12.01pm
Anyway, we’re now into the final international break and considering where we were just before the last one, credit to the manager and players because we’re now in a great position on all fronts. Top of the table, into the cup final and sitting with a good chance of qualifying from the EL group.
Only 5 points separate the top 6 teams in the league, safe to say it’s tight as flook, I’d expect the bottom 3 or 4 teams in the league to be the ones down there permanently for the rest of the season, they’re going to be the whipping boys for everyone else, 4 dreadful sides.
Now we have to put up with the International break and this one will be worse than others with that squad we have available. Scott Bain, Ryan Jack, McTominay and David Bates all called up
I’d like to think we’ll get 2 wins but I’m not confident in the slightest.
