Radrizzani

I can't comment on the other thread and quite frankly wouldn't want to.

I'm bemused by the assumption that AR is only here to maximise profit from increased TV rights.

He's put his cash along with others into the club and like any investor he's well within his rights to seek a good return on same. His investment into players, coaches and infrastructure suggests he's looking at the long-term but more importantly the Premier League.

The Premier League is where a club of our size and potential needs to be and where any investor will see a healthy return on their cash injections.

Leeds United is on a better footing than at any other time in recent history. Lessons from last season clearly learnt. I think it's a bit disingenuous to constantly berate an owner who genuinely seems to be doing the right thing.

In terms of this current deal, AR is not alone in wanting a better deal for his club. We have a number of Premier League clubs making similar mutterings viz a viz a breakaway European league. Will always be the case.

We have some issues to deal with on the pitch but otherwise I'm happy with the progress thus far. Surprising how the likes of GFH garnered support for opening a Twitter account......

And I've just looked in again to see someone talking a load of whatever you want to call it to himself!..

This Leeds United Premier thing, I ain't like some that think one club is to big and the other isn't big enough, I see a league with x-amount of teams in there and they're all there for a reason!..

The Premier teams have earned their places!..

The lower league teams haven't!..

I don't know where that "Very naive" comes into it, if we get back up there then we can say "hellooooo, we're back!..

But until than we're no different or better then anybody outside the Premiership!..

I've said before, I'll say it again, and I don't give a toss about what people think about me saying it!..

its crap when our fans think the Premier league is nothing without us!..

2018, I do not watch the Premiership, reason?...because my big team isn't up there!..

I don't even know who's first because of me not looking, but, I do know that anybody who goes out worldwide extra to watch the Premiership will watch whoever gets shown!..

I don't believe anyone disagrees that teams that are there earned their place and those that aren't have not as yet.

The topic, as I see it, is whether the PL would benefit from having a club with the size of support of Leeds United. This is the club that most of us care most about.

Sound good so far?

Would the PL benefit from having other clubs also, e.g., Sunderland? I suggest most here would agree with that too.

Has the PL succeeded without Lees United for the past decade and a half? It appears so.

Would the PL be even more successful with Leeds United in it? Many here would suggest it would.

Would Leeds United benefit more from being in the PL than the PL would benefit from Leeds United being there? As my friend ion the south might say "YOU BET!"

Now we just need to make it happen!

Did I cover everything? Answers on a postcard please.

It’s fantastic that so many small clubs have deservedly gained PL status.
Unfortunately there is a price to pay.
The tv money is everything for the PL
It needs a competitive league with rivalries and great match atmospheres which made it the league that the world wanted to watch.

I'll be totally honest, I have no idea who's saying what on this thread

Its the League that everybody wants to watch,(exept me!)because most of the worlds top players play in it, and the reason why isn't the Premier league, its the ridiculous money the Premier league pays!..

Take that away and the Premier league wouldn't be the biggest in the world, because the players that play there would be elsewhere!..

Why do you think there ain't as many English players that should be in there?..

English football has been the most watched league in the world for many years.

Originally it was about the atmosphere as many countries don’t have or have few away fans ( a bit like the PL now )
The tv audience does not want to see empty away ends which results in a lack of atmosphere.
