Jose says United are second rate...

...allegedly. So you know me, one anti-Jose article followed by a pro-Jose article.

The sun are saying that Jose is fuming behind the scenes. I've said it before, what we're seeing now isn't just down to Jose, but I still think he should be getting more out of the players he has.

Here's what the Sun had to say:

The former Chelsea boss is fuming behind the scenes as he believes United’s set-up is light years behind some big-spending rivals.

He has been moaning about standards at the club and told friends that everything is "second rate".

Mourinho has been scathing about their recruitment and scouting network, along with the club’s failure to be in the mix for the top players when it comes to negotiations.

There is also frustration with the club’s travel arrangements, highlighted by their late arrival for Champions League group games with Juventus and Valencia this season.

I suspect that Klopp had been on the agenda since the summer. If I recall he said he wanted to take a little time out after Dortmund, but clearly Liverpool managed to convince him to take the job. I don’t think Chelsea were really of consequence as it didn’t really seem likely that he’d ever end up there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why was it not likely?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because it's not the type of job he goes for.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Based on what, the two jobs he's had?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Plus the one he's in now. All long-term projects.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was including Liverpool in the two.

Well then you were wrong about the number of jobs he's had. Quite funny considering you've literally just said it wouldn't make sense for you to be wrong

It wouldn't make sense for me to be wrong about why Rodgers was fired when he was. There is no logical reason to fire him at that particular moment unless it was because of Klopp. That's what i was saying.

Because I don’t think you were interested at the time and it’s not really the sort of job he’d take, as mentioned earlier.

.................

One more time, thick boy.

Crap results on top of a poor showing the season before.

This isn't difficult to understand if you really want to make an effort.

All in vain wahly baby, we're in the now. Lucky to get 3 points against leicester and losing to brighton, and seemingly alienating his players and fans.

Maybe Rui Faria was the mastermind all along.

Can't wait for another 10th place finish for Chelsea this season.

What a club.

No the argument was whether there were ulterior motives behind Rodger's firing aside from his performance and there were. Liverpool wanted to hire Klopp, that's part of the reason they pulled the trigger so quickly.

Nah. You're wrong.
