The tinker man is back!

Multi boards please admin

So Fulham appoint Ranieri...The boomerang man, the man who singlehandedly won the title for Leicester....Or as they say, how the legend goes...

Will Fulham be a title contenders next season, accepting this season there isn't a lot Ranieri could do for them other than save their premiership status?

Or the man has reached his maximum capacity and Fulham have just made a silly foolish mistake?

Can Fulham survive this season in the premiership?

Fascinating twist!

Yes Fulham can survive in Premiership with Ranieri but the highest Fulham can reach with Ranieri next season is maybe 11th in Premiership.

The "tinkerman" title certainly was not apt for his time at Leicester, and Ranieri needs to find a consistent XI at Fulham.

Jokanovic clearly didn't know his best XI, his best formation or even the best style to play with. Too many signings in the summer and he never had a clue what to do with his defence. They have had 3 first choice keepers in just 11 games! The back 4 (or 5 at times) has rotated so much that 9 of them have already started at least 4 PL games.

Ranieri needs to find his first choice defence and a way to get the best out of Mitrovic, Schurrle, Seri, Sessegnon, Cairney and Vietto. If he can then they have a squad good enough to stay up.

You`ve got to feel sorry for Jokanovic, his team gets shafted by the officials at Klanfield and next thing he loses his job.

Does that explain the other 8 PL defeats in 12 games?

Whenever I watched Fulham, their defense looked both lacking in basics and the positioning was suicidal.

Their left back, Sessignon, against Liverpool, left a huge gaping hole in defense which Liverpool's Shaquiri tried to exploit, not well though, and it was clear the defense didn't know whether to attack or defend, and did neither.

Also, noticed their players doing some flicks and nutmegs, instead of keeping thing simple and stay controlled and focused.

Though, you could argue they were undone by the officials against Liverpool. No doubt about that.

But they always looked like they would concede.

Can Ranieri shore up this leaky defense?

One of the worst defenses in Europe!

Got some really good attacking players (probably too many in my book), but as has been said, defensively not great. Think they have players in that defence that should be good enough to turn it around though. Just got to get them better organised and with a more consistent set up and understanding.
