Numerous reports claiming the Bavarians have won the race. If true I'm surprised they went for him, but I'm happy he won't be joining local rivals and come back to haunt us a la RvP.

I still can't believe this may actually be a thing.
He can barely get into our team, but Bayern think he's good enough for them?
I suppose on a free transfer it's a low risk (if you don't factor in the massive wages/lengthy contract he'll probably demand), but goes without saying that he's not even close to being good enough for them.
Ah well, won't be our problem anytime soon.
