Top man , always remember when we bumped into him in a hotel in Liverpool and the look on my boys face ( he was about 8 ) when Kenny said he’d sign his book and it was his maths homework , that became his Liverpool auotograph book after that ! Kenny thoughts it was v funny !

Said this should have happened a lon time ago.
A fine player, just brilliant to watch. But better than all that, a great man.

Let’s not forget what he did for Celtic as well, he was a great player and a great servant to two of our biggest clubs

Trust the Mancs to come up with pathetic comments as the above.
Should have happened a long time ago but better late than never. The work him and Marina have done for charity and the Hillsborough foundation is remarkable. Not a bad footballer either.

He’s from Salford not Manchester.
Long overdue this not just for his work on justice for the 96 but he could play a bit as well.

I've just been reading an interview he gave on BBC sport. He was a great player, a great manager and is a great man. You were lucky to have him. As I have written in a previous article I've always had a soft spot for the club and the city.
Still want to finish above you of course, but it's a proper football club.
