Did you actually enjoy winning that trophy? Did you jump from the couch and run around the coffee table screaming when Paul and Henrikh scored those goals? Did you jump so hard up in the air fist pumping that your pint spilled all over the United fans around in the pub? Or where you there at the match and you were thrilled and hugging fans in the stadium?
Or was it all meh and tainted because of the absolute garbage Mou is serving up?
Honest question
Europa League win

Happy to win it and complete the set. Miles off the feeling of winning the CL but still enjoyable and qualification for the CL the following year was great

after watching the Celta Vigo game at OT it was a relief to win the final.

I seem to remember the mood around Manchester being pretty subdued, with the game coming so soon after the MEN Arena attack. I didn't particularly feel like going watching the match in a pub, which is very unlike me.
That said, it was great to see us win it - a trophy we'd never won before, and it got us into the CL.

tbh some of the best trophies Ive seen us win as a fan have been 'lesser ones' Rotterdam was epic and Cup finals in the days when winning the FA Cup was bigger news that winning the Football League. (yes it was like that kids).
Which is why I have no problem with The Ropey. Seen us play enough UEFA Cup ties with no cigar.

same when Chelsea defaulted out of the CL & then won this...
It's mickey Mouse...but if you're in it you need to bring it home..which we did

Youngsters have no idea how thrilling the FA Cup final was in an era when there were three TV channels, no VCRs (look it up) and only 1 club football game per year on t' telly

Agreed, the cup winners would parade the cup round the ground just before the teams came out, I remember seeing Jimmy Greaves and Danny Blanchflower running round OT season 62/63 and everyone to a man applauded them, can't see that happening today, although if Leicester had showed off the PL trophy I for one would have give them a well deserved round of applause
Only live games were the cup final and home internationals you had to savour every kick, and now I'm not only looking old but I'm feeling old

You're all making up sheet, Liverpool fans this Liverpool fans that and then carrying on as if it's fact.
A lot of footie fans do this in this country so its not out of the ordinary to be fair to you.
