Quite easy to call a player of £30million a flop if they're a squad player and don't fit the teams passing philosophy. Sissoko has done so well this season coming in after all the injuries we have and out performing our out of form 1st teamers.

It's okay have 1 or 2 players like him in the squad for something different but my issue is spurs barely spend money and we see how we did nothing in the transfer window yet one of our record signings is a squad player.

Lloris kept the score respectable in that game, could have been 6 or 7 otherwise. France belatedly getting what they deserve for their tactics of not playing football and just trying to hoof it to Giroud or counter through Mbappe.

I know they won the World Cup, but I'd have loved to see them make the most of the talent in that squad by playing some attractive football.
