If bt value the product so much then why were they out bid not only by sky but by premier sports?

Maybe sky are investing more and will improve coverage while improving the product, you know like they would have if we hadn't have went with setanta. Although not sure the have learned the lesson there given premier sports are pretty much getting all cup game's.

Sky's initial tweet to announce this deal was a picture of Rodgers and Gerrard (Gerrard smiling in the foreground, Rodgers grimacing in the background btw) with the Rangers and Celtic crests.

That was it. No mention of any other team.

And that sums the utter thundercunts up. They couldn't give the slightest feck about any other part of the game. To them, Scottish football is the Old Firm and nothing more.

Needless to say we'll need to suffer many more years of them using the wrong crests (the number of times they confuse United and Dundee is a scandal) and wrong stadia named etc etc

I get the argument that BT didn't bid enough so it's tough luck, but the winners should promote the game properly - and all of the game. Sky don't.

As an aside, everyone is aware that Premier Sports is basically just a revived Setanta Sports, right? It's run by the same people.

Have they really got the crests wrong? Christ that's poor

They are Kants for getting it up. As Ivan said they get Dundee and its mixed up all the time, or they believe it’s the same team... - should be really tho shouldn’t it? - the day after beautiful Sunday, radio 2 announced that Celtic and aberdeen had reached the quarter final of the Scottish cup

Another deal that shows how out of touch the guys running the game are with yer average fan.

Terrible deal and guys like lawell praising it to keep Doncaster sweet are a riddy.

Bt sports coverage was better but they’ve basically done what everyone used to slate sky for, that is being allabout the big tourneys/clubs.

Now they’ve got the champ league sewn up surprise surprise they aren’t interested in Scotland anymore. On the plus side, we here less of Sutton so not bad
