Mustafi

Can we please never ever rely on this guy in high pressure, tense situations?

He almost cost us yet again due to needlessly sliding on the floor and committing a foul deep into stoppage time where there was no danger?

When you need calmness and reliability, he provides panic and anxiety.

I'm happy we won away at a very tough ground, against a team who's had a great start to the season. But players like Mustafi bring my blood pressure up due to his utter lack of intelligence.

I'm a bit annoyed that no-one showed the shove on Ramsey in the penalty area which was a fairly obvious penalty. They also didn't show the multiple chances we had, Mkhitaryan in particular missing some guilt edged ones.

Ah well, it doesn't change the result.

Yes, three points were gained! However, this was yet another sloppy uninspiring win. Arsenal does not seem to dominate any PL game, instead we see late goals and depend upon mistakes by opponents(as in today's game), to score goals. Any natural true goal scorers out there like a Vardy or a Salah? Arsenal does not seem to identify natural goal scorers when looking to upgrade. However, on the bright side, fifth place is not bad for a team that does not yet seem to have hit its stride!

Not sure what game you were watching as apart from the first 15-20 mins we were actually very good.

Second half was literally all us.

Who is not paying attention? I was addressing the issue of "GOAL" scorers, not who had greater possession! Once again, a very shaky and sloppy win for a multi-million pound team! Let's wait and see how they do against Spurs, maybe they will prove me wrong. Good luck!

Sloppy?

Apart from the first 15 minutes and perhaps the last 5 minutes, we were comfortably the better team. Dominated possession, created more chances, had more shots, won more duels. Not sure what was so 'sloppy' about the win.

The only major criticism (aside from the goal we conceded) was that we didn't score more goals.

Bournemouth are a very good side with a strong home record. Don't underestimate how big a win this was.

216 goals in 427 appearances. Not a natural goal scorer? What an absolute shambles of a comment from the globaldickhead once more.

You are truly a rude ignoramus! If anyone would admit to being your parents they would undoubtedly agree. Can't you ever make a comment without being a total disgusting jerk?
What the hell does 216 goals in 427 appearances mean? What are you referring to? You were in such a hurry to be a moron that you couldn't even construct a sentence that makes sense!

Kindly return your head to your posterior entrance!

A sloppy win?!. Apart from man City who are destroying teams, I can’t see anyone going to Bournemouth with the perfect performance. It was a hard fought deserved win. Dominated possession, dominated chances on goal if you look at the stats.

What do you mean? 216 goals in 427 appearances means 216 goals in 427 appearances. That simple. What don't you understand?
As for a sentence that doesn't make sense, try "Arsenal does not seem to identify natural goal scorers when looking to upgrade" when Arsenal have recently signed one of Europes most prolific strikers, who just happens to be the current PL top scorer - and the top scorer since he joined the PL.

Samir,
That was my point. It is GOALS that win games, not dominating possession, creating more chances, having more shots, winning more duels etc. etc. etc.
I also acknowledged that Arsenal did win the game even though it was nail biting time near the end!
Good luck!

Powerking,
I think that we can agree on one thing, when the game is over, the only statistic that really counts is goals scored.

We often dominated games with wenger with 60%+ possession but could still lose by like 2 goals. That was a big criticism under wenger. Yes we haven’t been in total control of lots of games this season, but more often than not, we’ve got the result. There’s been numerous games this season you could have definitely imagine us losing last year.

For me, the results are the most important this year. We haven’t yet got good enough players to be comfortably dominating most games we play. And other than perhaps top 3/2 teams neither has anyone else in the league. If Emery can keep this squad within touching distance of top 4 (hopefully finishing 4th) that will be a big achievement for his first season. Then hopefully we can start improving the squad

We've got a few players in the squad that lack basic intelligence. Mustafi has the obvious moment late on. Xhaka was pretty good for mos of the game then decided to hand possession back over in dangerous areas a couple of times. Plus you have the likes of Monreal who consistently show a lack of footballing intelligence.
