Reading remained in the north after their draw at Wigan on Saturday. Academy striker Danny Loader made his debut off the bench at the DW Stadium and is likely to be involved once again.
It remains to be seen if former Leeds loanee Mo Barrow will feature after illness, while striker Sam Baldock missed out on Saturday through injury. Striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has a back problem.

You lot probably won’t believe this but I was in the pub watching the game and said take Alioski and Baker off at HT for Saiz and Clarke.
It happened.
Then I said put the ball to his right and he will save it.
It happened.
Time to buy a lottery ticket?
We are getting to the point where results count more than the performance. Tonight was one of those games.

Offensively, Douglas had a great game, but you cannot concede a penalty and get MOM!

I’ve been a critic of both in the past but Cooper and Phillips both very good today. Bpf had little to do but did it well regardless of the penalty. Roofe was good first half, foreshaw decent in the second. Promising touches from Clarke, everyone else average at best today,
Think Pablo has been off the boil for a while and it shows in the team’s performance levels.
