Was he though? OK his comments after were a bit OTT but he was a World Class LB and expected a bit more love from Arsenal than they gave. We should have given him the contract his talent deserved. Instead Fiszmann and Co tried being clever and ended up with egg on face.

He was offered 50k per week some 12 years ago. Which was a massive amount back then. He went behind the club's back with his agent and met with reps from Chelsea. He did all this despite professing to be an Arsenal fan from a kid and loving the club.

Slept around when in a relationship and by all accounts hang around with Jermaine Pennant who has since admitted in his book about the sorts of things he used to get up to.

I'm probably being a prude and maybe I wouldn't give a feck if he say left Chelsea and then went to us rather than the other way round. But it is what it is and I don't like him

dont know why Willy didnt work out for Arsenal he was part of the premierships best ever central defensive pairing ever he was huge alongside JT. when they played it was almost a given that the best oppos could expect was a 0-0 draw.

admittedly Ricky did wonders for us too.
